In the given figure if coefficient of friction between block and surface is 0.1 then find acceleration produced by the resultant
force acting on the block (take g = 10 m/s2).Weight of block is 5 kg. Force applied is 15 newton​

Mass = 5 kg

Frictional constant = .1

Force = 15 N

Friction = Fc (Friction constant) x m x g

= .1 x 5 x 10

= 5 N

Net force = Pulling force - opposing force

= 15 N - 5 N = 10 N

F = ma

10 N = 5 x a

a = 2 m/s^2
