let ∠a=2x and ∠b=3x

∠a+∠b=180°

(adjacent angles on straight line are supplementary)

➞ 2x+3x=180°

➞ 5x=180°

➞ x = 180/5

➞ 36°

Now, ∠b = 3x = 3 × 36°

➞ 108°

➞∠c=108°

∴∠y=∠c (corresponding angles)

➞ y° =108°
