you can write is as a= 80+ b... (I)

now you know that by linear property a+b=180°.. ( ii)

now put value of a in equation ii

you will get -:

80+b+b =180°

80+2b=180°

2b=180°-80°

2b= 100°

b=100/2

b=50°

now put value of b in equation I

a=b+80°

a=50°+ 80°

a= 130°

your ans is a=130°

and b=50°
