in the given figure if X + Y = w+z, then prove that AOB is a line

x + y = w + z --------(1)

Sum of all angles is Complete angle

x + y + z + w = 360

=> x +y + ( w +z) = 360

=> x + y + x + y = 360 ( using equation 1)

=> 2 ( x + y) = 360

=> x + y = 180°

Since x + y = 180°

Therefore AOB is a straight line
