In the given figure, LM and LNare tangents to a circle with center O. Show that :
(a) LM=LP+PR
(b) LM+MN=Perimeter of ∆LPQ​

From figure ,

Tangent drawn from outside point to circle at two points have equal length.

i.e. PA=PB

⇒PL+LA=PN+NB

⇒ PL+LM=PN+NM

{∵LA=LM∵NB=NM}
