Given that m is II to n and n is II to o.

Therefore m is also II to o

Now since angle a + angle b = 180 degrees

(sincefore corresponding angles on the same side of the transversal are supplemantary)

Therefore 50 + angle a = 180

or angle a = 180-50

= 130 degrees

Now there is one more transversal given with one angle as 90 degrees.

let's say that angle is d.

now angle b+c = angle d

why??

BKZ alternate interior angles are equal in a transversal

now, 50 + angle c = 90

Angle c = 90-50

Angle c = 40 degrees.

Thank you! I hope that it is clear

Step-by-step explanation:

Answer

Let ∠1=3x and ∠2=2x.

Since ∠1+∠2=180

o

or, 5x=180

o

or, x=36

o

.

∴∠1=108

o

and ∠2=72

o

.

Since m∥n and l is the intersector, then

∠3=∠1=108

o

and ∠4=∠2=72

o

[Opposite angles]

and ∠7=∠5=∠2=72

o

.

If ∠5=72

o

then ∠6=108

o

=∠8.
