Step-by-step explanation:

1. if y=73 then

angle ROQ=2×73-16 = 146-16 = 130

since angle ROQ and ROP are linear angles then

angle ROQ+ROP= 180

130+5x= 180

5x= 50

X=10

2. if x=14 then

angle ROP = 5×14 = 70

angle ROQ+ROP= 180

2y-16+70=180

2y-16=110

2y=126

y=63

Answer:

i ans = 10 degree and ii ans = 63 degree

Step-by-step explanation:

i] If y = 73 degree then

angle ROQ = 2* 73 - 16 = 146 -16 = 130  degree

Since ,  angle ROQ +  ROP = 180  degree

130 + 5x =180 degree

5x = 180 - 130

5x = 50 degree

x = 50/5

=  10 degree

x =10 degree

Thus , x = 10 degree

ii] If x =14 degree then

angle ROP = 5 *14 = 70 degree

angle ROQ + ROP = 180 degree

2y -16 + 70 = 180 degree

2y -16 = 180 - 70

2y -16 = 110 degree

2y = 110 + 16

= 126 degree

y = 126 degree / 2

= 63 degree

Thus , y = 63 degree
