because
In Triangle XYA and triangle ZYA
we have
AY=AY. (COMMON in both triangles)
angle YXA=angle YZA (each 90°)
XY=ZY
By SAS congruence rule they are similar
there for XA=ZA
hence AZ =5.5cm
