in the given figure point a on the bisector of angle xyz if a X equal to 5.5 CM then find AZ​

XYA°=AYZ° (a is bisector)

X°=Z°( both 90°)

YA=YA (common)

hence; in ∆XYA and ∆AYZ

XYA°=AYZ°(given)

XAY°=ZAY°(as 2 angles are equal in two ∆ then third angle would be also equal)

YA=YA(common)

thus ∆XYA~=∆AYZ( ASA RULE)

AND XA=AZ=5.5cm( CPCT)

ANS: AZ=5.5cm

AZ is 5.5cm
because
In Triangle XYA and triangle ZYA
we have
AY=AY. (COMMON in both triangles)
angle YXA=angle YZA (each 90°)
XY=ZY
By SAS congruence rule they are similar
there for XA=ZA
hence AZ =5.5cm
