To find:

If QO = 2 cm and OR = 4 cm. If ∠P = 90° the radius of the semicircle is:​

Solution:

From given figure,

it's clear that the radius of the semicircle is given by,

QO + OR = QR

as the centre ‘O’ of this semicircle lies on QR.

⇒ QR = 2 + 4

QR = 6 cm

Therefore, the radius of the semicircle is 6 cm.
