AQ/QB=AP/PC—eq(I)
PR parallel DC so by Thales theorm
AR/RD=AP/PC—eq(ii)
so AQ/QB=AP/PC=AR/DR
so AQ/QB=AR/DR
by cross multiplication
We get
DR/AR=QB/AQ
QB/AQ=DR/AR
