(i) since, PQ=PR

Therefore, <Q=<R

Now , in ∆ PQS and ∆ PRS

PQ= PR

QS=SR

<Q=<R

Hence,∆ PQS ~= ∆PRS ( BY SSS)........(1)

(ii) Since , ∆PQS~= ∆ PRS

=> <PSQ=PSR (by cpct )

Also , <PSQ+ < PSR = 180° ( Linear pair)

2 <PSQ = 180°

=> < PSQ=90° = <PSR ( Hence proved)
