In the given figure PQR is
a triangle where PS, PQ
and RS are the bisectors of
angle P, angle Q and angle R
respectively.

1) if angle PRQ is greater than
angle PQR prove that SQ
greater than SR.

2)if angle PRQ=110°and angle
PQR=40,prove that SPis

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation

ANGLE ( PQS ) = ANGLE ( SQR )     ( PS , PQ , RS  ARE THE BISECTORS)

ANGLE ( RPS ) = ANGLE ( SPQ )

ANGLE ( PRS ) = ANGLE ( SPQ )

NOW,

1)  ANGLE ( SRQ ) > ANGLE ( RSQ)

THEREFORE, SQ > SR ( SIDE OPPOSITE TO GREATER ANGLE IS GREATER ).

2) ANGLE ( PQS ) > ANGLE ( QSP )

THEREFORE, SP > SQ ( SIDE OPPOSITE TO GREATER ANGLE IS GREATER).
