GIVEN:

  • ZQ = 50° and ZPRS = 70°

TO FIND:

  • ANGLE QRP
  • ANGLE SPR

SOLUTION:

<q = <s (property of parallelogram)

<s = 50°<s + <spr + <prs = 180° (sum of all angles of triangle is 180°)

50° + 70 °+ < spr = 180°

120 °+ <spr = 180°

<spr = 180 ° - 120°

<spr = 60°

<spr = <qrp = 60 ° ( answer )

Answer:

The base and height of a triangle are in the ratio 4:3. If the base is increased by 4 cm and the height is decreased by 2 cm, the area of the triangle remains the same.
