in the given figure , PQRS is a parallelogram. L is any point on PS and M is any point on QR. Show that ar (triangle PMS)=ar (triangle PLQ)+ar (triangle LRS)​

The required figure is attached in image.

Area of parallelogram = PQxAQ

Triangle OPQ have same base as that of parallelogram but height QB is half of height of parallelogram QA.

Area of triangle is half of PQxQB

= 4PQ∗QA

= 4/1 of area of parallelogram PQRS
