∠ QPR= ∠PRT ===>  ∠x = 70 °

now , QPR is forming a triangle and angle sum property of triangle says that sum of all  interior angles of triangle is 180 °

so,

      30° + 70° + ∠y = 180°

        ∠ y =  180° - 100° = 80°
