∠x = 70 °   and   ∠ y =  80°

we know that if two lines are parallel then the alternate opp angles are equal so

∠ QPR= ∠PRT ===>  ∠x = 70 °

now , QPR is forming a triangle and angle sum property of triangle says that sum of all  interior angles of triangle is 180 °

so,

       30° + 70° + ∠y = 180°

         ∠ y =  180° - 100° = 80°

QP parallel to RT and PR is traversal.

∠QRP=∠PRT

⇒x=70⁰

Now, QP parallel to RT and OR is traversal.

∴∠QRT=∠PQR=180⁰

⇒30⁰ +y+70⁰=180⁰

⇒y=180⁰ −30⁰−70⁰

⇒y=80⁰

Therefore,

x=70⁰and y=80⁰
