we know that seg ab = seg ac
let ∠abc = 1
then ∠abc = ∠acb = 1(angles oppostie to equal sides of a Δ are equal
given : af║bc
∴∠eaf=∠abc = 1 (corresponding angles)
now using exterior angle property,
∠abc+∠acb = ∠eac
but
∠eac =∠eaf+∠fac
⇒∠1+∠1 = ∠1+∠fac
∴∠fac = ∠1
since ∠eaf = ∠fac = ∠1
af bisects angle ∠eac
