To Find :- A(∆ABE) / A(∆BAD) = ?
Solution :-
we know that,
- Area of ∆ = (1/2) * Base * perpendicular height .
so,
→ A(∆ABE) = (1/2) * AB * BE = (1/2) * AB * 6 = 3AB unit²
and,
→ A(∆BAD) = (1/2) * AB * AD = (1/2) * AB * 9 = (9/2)AB unit²
then,
→ A(∆ABE) / A(∆BAD) = 3AB/(9/2)AB = 3 / (9/2) = 3 * (2/9) = 2/3 (Ans.)
