in the given figure the area of shaded region between two concentric circles is 264 CM square the sum of radii of two circle is 14 cm find the difference between their radii.

(22/7)×(x+y)(x-y)=264
(264×7)/22=(x+y)(x-y)
84=(x+y)(x-y)
84=14(x-y)
6=x-y

I solved it a bit further finding the Radius of bigger circle and smaller circle according to the question you can stop at (R-r)=6cm
Ans: Difference between the Radius is 6cm......
