Solution

half of perimeter is =(11+4+8)/2=23/2

now area...

 =  \sqrt{ \frac{23}{2} ( \frac{23}{2}  - 11)( \frac{23}{2}  - 8)( \frac{23}{2} - 4) }  \\  =  \sqrt{ \frac{23}{2}  \times  \frac{1}{2} \times  \frac{7}{2}  \times  \frac{15}{2}  }  \\  =  \frac{ \sqrt{2415} }{2 \times 2}  \\  =  \frac{ \sqrt{2415} }{4}  \\  = 12.28(almost)
