Given : CE = 3cm ; AE = 6 cm (=12AB)

Let Radius of circle be r

so, OA = rand OE = (r −3) Apply pythagoras theorem in ∆ OEA,OA2 = (OE)2  + (AE)2r2 = (r−3)2+62r2=r2 + 9 − 6r + 36−6r = −45r = 456/ = 7.5 cm

Answer:

7.5 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

AB = 12 cm

then, AE = 6 cm.....

by applying pythogoras theorem in ∆ AOE,

OA^2= AE^ 2+OE^2
