In the given figure, the diameter of the inner circle is 3m and that of the outer circle is 11m. Find the area of the shaded region.

Area of shaded region = area of outer circle - area of inner circle

= 2π( R² - r²) = 2*3.14 ( 1331 - 9) = 2*3.14* 1322

= 8,364.96 m².
