To find :

the angles x , y and z..

Solution :

angle AOB is a straight angle and thus , x ; 86° and 2x + 10 are linear pairs .

x + 86 + 2x + 10 = 180

3x + 96 = 180

3x = 180 - 96

3x = 84

x = 84/3

→ x = 28° .

angle AOD and angle COB are vertically opposite angles ..

Thus ,

x + 86 = y

28 + 86 = y

→ y = 114° ..

angle AOC and BOD are vertically opposite angles ..

thus ,

2x + 10 = 3z - 6

by putting value of x

2(28) + 10 = 3z - 6

56 + 10 = 3z - 6

66 = 3z - 6

3z = 66+6

3z = 72

z = 72/3

→ z = 24° ..
