Hello there !!

Given :-

AX = AY

In ΔAXC and ΔAYB ,
AX = AY [ Given ]
BC = AB [ Given ]
∠A = ∠A [ Common ]

ΔAXC ≅ ΔAYB [ SAS ]

Hence ,
XC = YB [ cpct ]

☺️Heya mate ☺️

Given :-

In ∆ ABC , X and Y are two points on equal sides AB and AC of a ∆ ABC such that AX = AY.

To prove :-

CX = BY

Proof :-

In ∆ AXC and ∆ AYB

AX = AY [given]

AC = AB [given]

∠A = ∠A. [common]

Therefore, ∆ AXC is congruent to ∆ AYB by SAS criteria....

Hence, CX = BY by [C.P.C.T]
