To Find:

find the value of x

Solution:

First, we need to find a similarity between the two triangles LMK and PNK

we can see that \angle K is equal in both triangles and \angle M=\angle N=46^{\circ} is also equal in both triangles

Now if two angles are equal in two triangles it is known that 3rd angle will also be equal because all 3 angles of any triangle  =180^{\circ}

Therefore using AAA similarity

                                          \bigtriangleup LMK \approx \bigtriangleup PNK

now using the similarity property we can find the value of x

\frac{x}{a} =\frac{c}{b+c}\\x=\frac{ac}{b+c}

Hence, option (b) ac/(b+c) is correct option
