( X + 8 ) ( 16 - X ) MULTIPLY .

( 2Y + 13 ) ( 5Y + 4 ) MULTIPLY .

Answer:

x+8=16-x

x+x=16-8

2x=8

x=8÷4

x=4

2y+13=5y+4

2y-5y=4-13

-3y=-9

y=-9÷-3

y=3
