altitude, BC = 4cm.

a) angle ACB
b) angle BAC
c) BD​

so, it is isoscalous triangle.

so, angle ABC = Angle ACB

which is, 40 and = angle ACB

so, angle ACB = 40 degree.

so, 40+40+ angle BAC = 180

SO, Angle BAC =180-80=100

so, angle BAC = 100 degree.

triangle ADC and triangle ADB are congruent.....(RHS TEST)

so, BD=DC

BD+DC=BC

BD+BD=4cm

so,BD=2cm...
