Answer:

The value of

x=90°

z=130°

y=80°

Step-by-step explanation:

let the inner angle be a then

60°+50°+a=180°

a=180°-110°

a=90°

x=180°-90°=90°

let inner angle be c then

60°+70°+c=180°

c=180°-130°

c=50°

z=180°-50°=130°

let the inner angle be X then

35°+45°+x=180°

x=180°-80°=100

y=180°-100°=80°

In the given triangles, find the values of x, y, z

  • For finding the value of x,

Using angle Sum property,

∠BAC + ∠ABC + ∠ACB = 180°

⇒ 50° + 60° + ∠ACB = 180°

⇒ 110° + ∠ACB = 180°

⇒ ∠ACB = 180° - 110°

∠ACB = 70°

Now applying linear pair of angles,

∠ACB + ∠ACD = 180°

70° + ∠ACD = 180°

⇒ ∠ACD = 180° - 70°

∠ACD = 110° = x

OR

Applying Exterior Angle Property,

x = 50° + 60°

x = 110°

  • For finding the value of z,

Applying Exterior angle Property,

z = 60° + 70°

z = 130°

  • For finding the value of y

Applying Exterior Angle Property,

y = 35° + 45°

y = 80°

Additional information:

  1. Angle Sum Property states that the Sum of all angles in a triangle is always 180°
  2. Exterior Angle Property states that the sum of opposite 2 interior angles is equal to the exterior angle of the triangle.
  3. Linear pair of angles states that the sum of any 2 angles on a straight line is 180°
