Distance travelled in next 56 min
= 0 km as he was sleeping
Again distance travelled in last 2 min
= 7.5kmph × (2/60 hr)
= 15/60 km
So, total distance travelled = (15+0+15) /60
= 30/60 km
= 0.5 km
Total time taken= 2 +56 +2 min = 60 m
= 1 hr
So, as average speed
= total distance travelled / total time taken
So v avg= 0.5km / 1 hr
= 0.5 km/hr is the average speed of the hare.
