Yes, it's correct that in industrial sector a huge amount of energy is used to produce heat.Industries need heat for producing various goods from train to a pin , an for all these thing they need heat for melting , smelting etc. and this heat energy comes from the over exploitation of our natural resources such as coal and petroleum.This also create environmental problems.
