Answer:

I can remember the time when all the fields around this village were green and the harvests good. Everyone was so happy. There was abundant nature all around; we were living in a paradise.

Then the rich people came and bought land to build leather factory. They said our menfolk would get jobs. They said we would all become rich. But it was a false promise. They trapped us in their deceitful snares.

They destroyed the beauty and purity of our village. They discharged the poisonous chemicals into the environment; toxic ash from those chimney stacks fell to earth for miles around, polluting the earth below. This poisoned our fields, and killed their fertility.

They also dumped the effluents into our rivers. Now our women have to walk many kilometers every day to get water for drinking.

All of us want this factory to close so that we can start living happily again.
