The Camel was not being fair to the other animals because they had to work harder to make up for his laziness. The Djinn thought it was fair to give the Camel his hump to punish him for not working. Example 1: The Man tells the Dog, Ox, and Horse that they have to do more work because the Camel refuses to do anything

The camel in the story "how the camel got his hump" got his hump by not working. He lived in the middle of a howling desert because he didn't want to work. He ate thorns, prickles, and sticks. And, when someone spoke to him he said only 'humph'.

Beacuse of the camel's idleness the dog, the ox and the horse had to do his share of work too. Because of this reason they were very angry and they held a panchayat on the edge of the desert. In the panchayat the charge of all the deserts the Djinn also came.

He decided to teach the camel a lesson. He went to the camel and asked that why are you not doing work? you have been assigned 3 works since Monday morning and you haven't done any of them. The camel said hump again.

The idleness of the camel brought him across a round mass or hump on his own back.

Hope it helps you.
