Number of Kg of pulse required of 60 students = 3

So number of Kg of pulse required for 1 student = 3/60

And number of Kg of pulse required for 46 students = 46 × number of Kg of pulse required for 1 student  = 46 × 3/60 = 46/20 = 23/10 = 2.3 kg

Hence quantity of pulse required by 46 students on Saturday is equal to  2.3 kg. ( but why pulses , they should serve pizza as its Saturday. )
