In males the testis is responsible for sperm production...
it situated in extra- abdominal cavity....as the temperature in stomach is high... due to acids..
the sperm production requires the low temp than normal body temperature....
at the foetal stage ..the testis located at abdominal cavity..but in after age...testis slides down into.. extra-abdominal cavity .....known as cryptochidism
