in the mediaeval period kalamkari was produced in machilipatnam in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh because kalamkari was the introduction of mughals in India mughals had introduced kalamkar in India the clothes was started have a different variety in that and in the history in mohenjo-daro there are some pieces order some evidence of kalamkari was found there and some evidence of mughals also was there
