In the meter bridge experiment, balance point was observed at J with AJ = l. (i) The values of R and X were doubled and then interchanged. What would be the new position of balance point (ii) If the galvanometer and battery are interchanged at the balance position, how will the balance point get affected

We know that a meter bridge follows the Wheatstone Bridge principle that is P/Q=R/SFor the first part is both R and X are doubled and interchanged then,2X/2R is X/R. So the new balance point will be 100-L OR 100-AJ  For the second part, there will be NO CHANGE IN THE BALANCE POINT because in the null position no current flows in the circuit so even if galavanometer and battery are interchanged the balance point remains the same.
