they proclaimed that they loved Caesar but they loved their country most . Brutus said that "As Caesar loved me , I weep for him ;as he was fortunate , I rejoice at it ;as he was valiant, I honour him : but as he was ambitious, I slew him."

Conspirators, especially Brutus , proclaimed that Caesar was determined to rule and didn't love the Citizens more than Brutus .and for this he was slained
