According to the second law of Newton, F is equal to k*m*a where k is proportionality constant which is taken to be equal to 1. ... Because we define 1 Newton of force as a 1 kg mass accelerating at 1 m/s^2. It is built up from fundamental quantities mass, length and time.

sameer2739707: F=G×m1×m2 /r^2
sameer2739707: am i right
sameer2739707: why we can not put the G=1
sameer2739707: G have some value
arpit3719: because value of g is 6.67×10¹¹
arpit3719: that is why we dont put value of g as 1
sameer2739707: why G have some value and k have no value
arpit3719: because g is gravitional constant and k is only constant
sameer2739707: ok
