in the normal days ticket of jhalana safari is sold at 15% discount and they earn a profit of 53% however un these conditions to attract travellers they are provided a discount of 22% instead of 15% how much profit they are earning now​

Answer :-

Let us assume that, MP is Rs.100x .

so,

→ SP at 15% discount = (100x * 85)/100 = Rs.85x .

now,

→ CP at 53% profit = SP * 100 / (100 + Profit%) = (85x * 100) / 153 = Rs.55.56x

now,

→ New SP with 22% discount = (100x * 78)/100 = Rs.78x .

then,

→ Profit = SP - CP = 78x - 55.56x = Rs.22.44x .

therefore,

→ Profit % = (22.44x * 100) / 55.56x = 40.38% (Ans.)
