The meiotic products having haploid(n) set of chromosome have been stated to have 20 PG of DNA. So the normal somatic cell(2n) would have double the amount of DNA i.e., 40 PG. Since the cell is in G2 phase of somatic cell cycle, it DNA content would be doubled whereas the chromosome number would remain the same.
