So, lets do !

As we know that AD = BC ; AB = BC

• AD = 26cm
• BC = 3y-1 cm
• AB = 3x cm
• CD = 18cm

AD = BC

26cm = 3y-1

Tranpose -1 to LHS

26 + 1 cm = 3y

27cm = 3y

y = 27/3

y = 9 cm

3x = 18cm

x = 18cm/3

x = 6cm

So, Required values of x,y are 6cm, 9cm
