We know,

Sum of interior angles of a △=  {180}^{\degree}

Thus,  2x + 3x + 4x = {180}^{\degree}

 9x = {180}^{\degree}

 \cancel{9x} = \cancel{{180}^{\degree}}

 x = {20}^{\degree}

And we know that, opposite angles of a parallelogram are same.

 x = y

 y = {20}^{\degree} .

Henceforth, both the variables are same having measurement of {20}^{\degree} .

More about a Parallelogram:-

  • The opposite sides of a Parallelogram are same and parallel.
  • It is denoted by  {||}^{gm} .
  • The diagonals bisect each other.
  • Opposite angles are same.
