Experience of visiting a relative's place

A few years ago, we visited my aunt's house in the Sundarbans. We set off the first steps at 9 a.m. in the morning and reached her house at 3 p.m.. We enjoyed a good lunch, made by my mausi.

I played cricket there with my nephew Arnab. I hit a few over-boudaries. That helped us win the match. We celebrated with phuchka and pakoda.

In the evening, we all went to the river and sat there gazing at the silent water. It was the Matla river that flows beside Gosaba island.

The next day, we visited Pakhiralay sanctuary and saw crocodiles, deer, monkeys, some rare species of snakes and lots of other animals. We could not see the Royal Bengal tigers, but noticed some fresh paws painted on the mud.

We stayed there for three days. We spent most of the time together by discussing history of the place and its important in our culture.

I was deeply moved by the beauty of the place and would like to visit once again with my family members in future.
