Trees are very important in maintaining the ecosystem as they purify air by giving oxygen and taking carbon dioxide for this they are often called Green lungs. They also prevent soil erosion. They also maintain climate change.
b. The sun :-
It also play a vital role in the ecosystem. Due to presence of sun only photosynthesis can take place and we get oxygen and food.
That's why trees and sun are the most important component of ecosystem.
