Someone who truly thinks highly of you and praises you is a positive and a good person. Whereas a false friend or a flatterer will only praise us and never criticize. When someone keeps on complementing us without feeling anything, it is called a flatterrer. We live in a cruel world. People get jealous and feel bad for our success. That is one of the main reason why people flatter us.
