The difference is that the villagers only believe on superstition and they were just only praying ,one of the villager said that if the scorpion will move then then will spread in the mother's body
But the husband was a rational person He did not believe in all these things .To save his wife he giving her medicine, herbs etc he burnt her finger to stop the effect poison
