In his Sonnet 55, William Shakespeare wrote words that bore down as so impactful as to become the most critically acclaimed of all his other sonnets.

In this sonnet, the poet describes how his words would outlast any man-built work of great sensation, just so he was writing about the brave man who he deemed to “dwell in his lover’s eyes”.

Not even the God of War can proclaim to defeat pure love, the poet writes, and it wouldn’t matter if wars happen to uproot material wealth.

The whole poem is a legitimate piece of writing with intense value in life.
