The Road Not Taken is a brilliant poem written by Robert Frost. It is a semi-autobiographical poem where Frost discusses the choices in life! The poet comes at a divergence in the road and can choose only one. One path has been travelled by many and is safe! The second path is less travelled by and wanted wear. This shows the tough decisions in our life! Frost had two ways! He could be a doctor, engineer, or any other safe worker but he chose to listen to his heart and became a poet. At that time, poetry was thought to be part-time and didn't earn any money, still Frost followed his heart and he doesn't regret that decision. We will face many difficult choices in life! But we must listen to our heart and follow the road which we want, not depending on others! We mustn't take one way just because its easy! We should follow what we want. And we will not be regretting the road not taken!

The divergence in real life signifies moral dilemma. The poet comes across a road which has forked into 2 and he has to select only one. He being a single entity cannot travel on both the roads. We have to make our own choice in life whether we succeed or not. Once we choose a path we cannot come back, but only regret our decision.
