in the poem the. road taken the poet stands on the two diverged roads for a long. time because he has two choices one road which is traveled by the most people and one with is less traveled the poet wants to take the less traveld road because he wanted to do something different but he has. also a fear of failure so he is fighting to himself that he take the less traveld one or most traveld one
