In the poem ‘Trains’, the child does not seem to know much about the trains that he watches every day. Pick out examples from the poem to show the innocence of the child.

the child does not seem to know much about the trains as he is very small and innocent and does not know that trains run on engines.the lines that suggest this are:

"slowly they move:like huge elephants"

"a marriage procession with music loud"

"i watch for hours and still the tireless trains march on and on along thier iron road"

"like a huge serpent crawling through the night"

"where do these trains go day and night?"

"where do they go and finally rest?"
